Core Responsibilities
- Equipment & Logistics: Transport, setup, and breakdown of specialized anesthesia equipment across partner sites.
- Patient Care: Assist with pre-procedure patient evaluation, monitoring, and pediatric patient comfort.
- Clinical Support: Assist the anesthesiologist with IV catheterization, airway management, and maintaining emergency preparedness.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Advanced EMT (AEMT) or Paramedic license/certification in Louisiana.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; warm, approachable demeanor with young children and families.
- Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn new clinical workflows.
- Travel: Reliable transportation required for travel to various partner dental offices across South Eastern Louisiana (New Orleans and Baton Rouge metro areas).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly when loading, unloading, and setting up mobile equipment.
Schedule & Compensation
- Type: As-needed / PRN (Flexible days and hours based on case schedules).
- Location: Mobile practice serving South Eastern Louisiana (GNO and Baton Rouge regions).
- Pay: $22.50+/hr with a $100 daily minimum guarantee.
