Travel RN - ICU

Job Details

American Traveler is hiring a Contract RN for an ICU position requiring an active TX or compact RN license and 2+ years of critical care experience.

Work in the ICU (critical care) unit of a hospital setting
Perform or assist with procedures including CABG, general surgery, IABP, IMPELLA, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia, rotoprone, and ventilation management
13-week contract assignment
Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Documentation charted in Meditech, including medication scanning and controlled substance policy compliance
Floating required per facility floating policy

Active TX RN license or compact RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIH Stroke Certification required
Minimum 2 years of hospital/specialty ICU experience required
BSN preferred
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Deliver critical care nursing services to ICU patients requiring advanced cardiac and respiratory support
Adhere to unit dress code requiring navy scrub top and pant with navy or white scrub jacket
Maintain clean, neat grooming standards including hair, nails, and facial hair
Cover body art whenever feasible and avoid visible piercings other than ear piercings
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
