POOL & BEACH ATTENDANT
RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:
- Set up and arrange furniture, equipment, umbrellas, loungers, and poolside amenities daily, ensuring aesthetically pleasing and functional layouts that enhance guest relaxation.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool and beach areas, furniture integrity, and hazard assessments; report any maintenance needs or damages promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain neat, organized, and immaculate conditions by clearing used towels, glasses, trash, and debris throughout shifts.
- Welcome guests warmly, ensure their safety and comfort, and provide towels, shade options, refreshments, and other requests with prompt, courteous service.
- Monitor inventory of supplies (e.g., towels, loungers, umbrellas) and restock as needed to prevent shortages.
- Assist with guest inquiries, such as sunscreen recommendations, activity directions, or special accommodations, while promoting hotel amenities and events.
- Collaborate internal departments to support seamless operations during peak times, events, or inclement weather.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including securing areas, logging daily activities and preparing for the next shift.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services preferred; beach/pool attendant roles a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor and ability to handle diverse guests.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods on feet in direct sunlight and tropical conditions.
- Must lift and carry 50 lbs. (e.g., furniture, supplies, or watersport equipment) comfortably and safely.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather, including heat, humidity, and occasional rain.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, and split shifts to meet operational needs.
Salary: USD$8.00 - USD$10.00 Per Hour + gratuities
