About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ 85043. This is a direct hire, full-time position offering comprehensive benefits. You will work the 2nd shift, from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with a competitive pay rate between $20 and $25 per hour.
Core Functions
You will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of our facility, including the installation, repair, and replacement of various electrical systems and appliances.
Your Responsibilities

Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.

Perform diagnostic testing to identify mechanical and electrical system faults.

Ensure all electrical installations comply with current safety codes.

Manage the installation of conduit and wire routing.

Execute necessary repairs on electrical machinery.

Verify wiring integrity using specialized tools like oscilloscopes and volt/ohmmeters.

Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of equipment components.

Monitor operating machinery to detect irregularities through sound and observation.

Disassemble equipment to access and extract faulty components.

Analyze parts for surface imperfections and structural defects.

Evaluate used components to check for dimensional wear.

Calibrate control instruments and functional device parts.

Replace or restore broken components to working order.

Integrate specialized structural and functional parts into existing devices.

Operate machine tools to assist in repair and installation tasks.

Verify equipment functionality through post-repair performance testing.

Utilize metalworking equipment such as grinders, lathes, and drill presses to fabricate or fix parts.

Coordinate the procurement of necessary machinery and replacement parts.

Restore electrical equipment to operational status.

Operate braze-welding tools as required by the task.

Keep accurate and detailed logs of all maintenance activities.

Help maintain a clean and organized work environment for the entire team.

Requirements

Possess a GED or high school diploma along with at least five years of relevant training or work experience.
