We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation practices meet health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Assist in meal preparation for catering events as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Familiarity with fine dining standards and practices is preferred.
- Proficient knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while also being creative in meal presentation.
- Understanding of dietary needs and restrictions to accommodate various guests' preferences.
