What You'll Do
As a School Bus Driver, you'll safely transport students to and from school while creating a positive, welcoming environment every day.
Your responsibilities include:
- Safely transporting students along assigned routes.
- Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections.
- Enforcing student safety and behavior expectations.
- Following all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Reporting accidents, incidents, or maintenance concerns.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and reliable bus.
- Opportunities to drive athletic teams, field trips, and extracurricular events for additional hours.
- Participating in required meetings and training.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Minnesota Class B CDL with School Bus and Passenger Endorsements, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days (paid training provided).
- Commitment to safety and excellent customer service.
- Dependable, patient, and professional.
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Physical Requirements
This position primarily involves sitting while driving (approximately 90%), with occasional walking and standing.
