Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems in new buildings
- Install piping systems using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to ensure secure and efficient connections
- Assemble plumbing fixtures and components, including valves, fittings, and appliances, following specifications and safety standards
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support installation processes on construction sites
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of building systems
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, pipe sizing, and layout planning to maintain precision in installations
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on plumbing installation or related trades such as remodeling or handyman work
- Knowledge of construction plumbing systems, schematics, and mechanical principles essential for accurate installation
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines effectively
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for precise project execution
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of construction work regularly
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and their integration with plumbing is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for transporting materials or equipment between sites

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
