Job Summary for SAP S/4HANA Procurement Functional Analyst:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven SAP Functional Analyst to support, enhance, and optimize SAP procurement solutions across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle. This role partners closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design functional solutions, configure SAP applications, and support system enhancements.
Job Description for SAP S/4HANA Procurement Functional Analyst:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
- Design, configure, implement, and support SAP procurement functionality throughout the Source-to-Pay (STP) lifecycle.
- Serve as the functional expert for procurement processes including: Requisition Management, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, Vendor Management, Contract Management, Strategic Sourcing
- Support and maintain SAP integration with Coupa or other procurement platforms.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and business users to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Perform business process analysis and recommend SAP best practice solutions.
- Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, workflows, forms, and data conversions.
- Coordinate with SAP technical teams and integration developers to implement custom solutions.
- Participate in SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and enhancement projects.
- Lead and coordinate discussions with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive projects to successful completion.
- Conduct and coordinate testing activities including: Functional Unit Testing (FUT), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Develop end-user documentation, training materials, and provide ongoing production support.
- Ensure system changes follow established governance, documentation, and change management processes.
- Support integration with Finance, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, Sales, and external procurement systems.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes and system performance.
Skills Required for SAP S/4HANA Procurement Functional Analyst:
- 3–7 years of SAP functional experience supporting Procurement, Source-to-Pay (STP), or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Hands-on SAP configuration experience in one or more of the following: SAP S/4HANA Procurement, SAP Materials Management (MM), SAP Supplier Lifecycle Management, SAP Invoice Management, Coupa Procure-to-Pay
- Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing business processes.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional solutions.
- Experience supporting SAP testing methodologies and system implementations.
- Working knowledge of payment processing and invoice management is highly preferred.
- Experience integrating SAP with Coupa or other procurement platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred qualifications for SAP S/4HANA Procurement Functional Analyst:
- SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
- SAP MM or SAP S/4HANA Procurement certification.
- Experience supporting Coupa Procure-to-Pay implementations.
- Experience with SAP Fiori.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Workflow.
- Experience integrating SAP with third-party procurement applications.
- Experience supporting global procurement organizations.
- Experience working within multi-company or multi-country SAP environments.
- Experience supporting digital transformation or SAP implementation programs.
Education for SAP S/4HANA Procurement Functional Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
