Job Summary
Seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Pre-K teacher who is committed to early childhood education. We have a part time opening for a teacher qualified individual. Blossom Station is open year-round. The program offers developmentally focused curriculum serving children 6 weeks to 6 years old. We are located in a setting adjacent to the Acton Rail Trail. Our extensive, professionally designed outdoor playgrounds enhance curriculum that matches each age group's needs. We are in a private building in a state of the art facility with plenty of supplies to enhance our curriculum.
Enrichment is key to Blossom Station's mission and as a result, we bring in outside professionals in the areas of physical education, music, art, and outdoor exploration.
In addition to our dedicated, enthusiastic teachers, we have in-house specialists who consult in the areas of early childhood development, curriculum development and social/emotional growth.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related field
- Experience with curriculum development
- Ability to work as a team with co-teachers
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and fellow teachers
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment requiring patience, creativity, and adaptability
- Ability to sit, stand and walk and expected to lift up to 5 obs at a time
- First Aid and CPR required
- Pay is based on qualifications, education, and experience and will be discussed at interview
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
