Stipend: $1,705
Qualifications:

Current Teacher/Staff at each school who are interested in developing their skills as teacher leaders;

Ability to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents, and advocate for children to solve problems effectively;

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and ability to work with all stakeholders;

Belief in the commitment to increasing personal growth, both academic and social-emotional, to obtain the highest level of achievement for every student.
Responsibilities:

Attend ILT meetings twice a month, 1 1/2 hours/90 min;

Identify, promote, and support the implementation of effective instructional practices;

Participate actively in discussions and provide reflective feedback to the group;

Engage in follow-up work as required by agreed-upon tasks;

Serve as a conduit between administration and teachers in regards to instructional practices.
Terms of Employment/Salary/Work Year:
As negotiated by the Fitchburg School Committee and the Fitchburg Education Association (FEA). This is a one (1) year appointment.
Appendix IV: Level 5 MTRS eligible.
An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of NCBC (fingerprinting) and CORI prior to your start of employment.
