We are seeking a motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our solar and electrical sales team! In this customer-facing role, you will generate new business opportunities, build strong relationships within the community, and educate homeowners and business owners on the benefits of solar energy and electrical solutions.

Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify new leads through door-to-door canvassing, networking, referrals, community events, and self-generated prospecting.
- Conduct in-home and on-site consultations to evaluate customer needs and present solar and electrical solutions.
- Educate customers on energy savings, financing options, tax incentives, and available programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, business owners, real estate professionals, and community partners.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals through effective prospecting, follow-up, and closing techniques.
- Maintain accurate customer records, appointments, and sales activities within the company CRM system.
- Collaborate with operations and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale to project completion.
- Attend company meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and community events as required.
- Stay current on industry trends, solar products, utility programs, and local market conditions.
- Represent the company professionally while upholding the highest standards of customer service and integrity.
Experience
- Previous experience recommended in outside sales, direct sales, solar sales, roofing sales, home improvement sales, or related industries preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Comfortable speaking with homeowners and business owners in person.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the service area.
- Solar industry experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
