Overview: The Account Manager plays a key role in growing and supporting the ProSource Member community. Working closely with the Sales Manager, this position is all about building relationships, creating value, and helping trade professionals win more projects. You’ll actively connect with new prospects, support existing Members, and ensure every account thrives. If you love meeting people, solving problems, and driving results, this role gives you the runway to shine — with monthly commission potential ranging from $500 to $3,000 on top of your base pay.(Earning Potential is Unlimted and these are based on Averages)
You’ll become an expert in ProSource products, learn how to guide Members toward smart solutions, and help them grow their businesses. This is a fast‑paced, people‑focused role where your communication skills, curiosity, and drive directly fuel your success. No weekends or evenings!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Marketing and Prospecting
· Develop and execute a plan to generate prospective members from an assigned marketing territory.
· Analyze territory assignments from the Sales Manager and strategize to generate prospects.
· Make showroom invitation calls to qualify and engage prospective Members.
· Contact and schedule showroom visits with prospects.
· Use open-ended questions to assess and qualify prospects, presenting the value-added benefits of ProSource Membership.
· Conduct informative showroom tours for prospective Members and walk-in visitors.
- Product and Professional Knowledge
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about ProSource products to better service Members and Clients.
- Engage in ongoing training through onboarding modules, workshops, product training, and industry publications.
- Product and Operations Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with Trade Professional members and clients.
- Input orders using the POS system and communicate ETAs and backorders to Members.
- Follow up with Members to ensure repeat business and encourage new Members to activate their Memberships with initial purchases.
- Showroom Promotions and Events
· Actively participate in the planning and implementation of showroom promotions and events.
· Assist Members and their Clients with product selection, provide education, and handle sales.
· Manage accounts and provide services in the absence of the assigned Account Manager.
· Notify Members and Clients of order statuses and any delays.
· Persistently follow up through every step of the sales cycle to ensure satisfaction.
· Assist in maintaining showroom cleanliness and organization of samples.
· Work with showroom personnel to reset displays and ensure overall showroom neatness and cleanliness as requested by the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:
- Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED required. One year of retail or wholesale sales experience or a combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Language Skills: Ability to write business correspondence and effectively present information to Managers, Clients, customers, and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills: Competency in understanding and calculating figures, including discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, email, and the ability to learn and use the POS system effectively.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
