Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities. This role is vital in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing a wide range of building systems and equipment to promote safety, efficiency, and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, along with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues using schematics, hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, and ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding and carpentry tasks as needed for repairs or upgrades within the facility.
- Maintain facilities equipment including pumps, motors, conveyor systems, and other machinery using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Lead or assist with maintenance painting projects to uphold the facility’s appearance and safety standards.
- Supervise or collaborate with team members on complex maintenance tasks while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently.
- Support maintenance operations by managing inventory of parts and tools necessary for repairs and routine upkeep.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally during maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within manufacturing or residential settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Skilled in welding, carpentry, plumbing system maintenance and repair, HVAC system repair, electrical work, and building interior maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and utilize tools such as hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments.
- Experience with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), CMMS software, and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members.
- Supervising or leadership experience is preferred for those interested in advancing into team lead roles.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, welding procedures, and general facilities maintenance.

Pay: $25.50 - $30.71 per hour
