What You Can Expect:

The Lactation Consultant provides professional leadership and advanced knowledge in the practice of lactation management. Lactation Consultants are responsible for educating new mothers and their families about the breast feeding process across multiple care settings, ensuring timely consults, breastfeeding support, and continuity from inpatient to outpatient care.

The Lactation Consultant will be supporting inpatient, outpatient, NICU, and newborn nursery services, providing essential support to postpartum patients, newborns, and NICU populations, as well as outpatient follow-up care.
Qualifications:

Bachelors of Nursing
-
2 years of RN experience, maternal-child experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications:

Current RN licensure from the State of Practice

IBCLC Specialty Certification
