American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry float pool position in Tucson, AZ, requiring 2+ years of experience and Cerner proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Float pool position requiring willingness to float between multiple facilities in the Tucson area

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week

6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule

Patient ratio of 6:1

Cerner EMR experience required
-
13-week contract

Active AZ RN license or compact license currently in hand

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience required

Cerner EMR experience required

No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Responsible for shift accountability using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care

Delegates care priorities based on staff education and experience and provides direction to assigned personnel

Any color scrubs are acceptable

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
