Staffworks Group is seeking an Assembly Automation Technician for our client in Fowlerville, MI. This is a direct hire position on midnight shift with an hourly pay range of $33-36/hour + $1.50/hour shift premium. A sign on bonus of $3,500 is also offered + benefits!
Responsibilities for this position include:
· Perform highly skilled corrective machinery/tool maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of robotic systems, PLC, vision systems, pneumatics, and more
· Perform preventative maintenance programs on production equipment (i.e., cleaning, retooling, oil-changing, calibrating, aligning, etc.)
· Assist in process improvements
· Note that this will be an off-shift role with ability to move to preferred shift over time
Education Requirements Required:
· High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent – and—
· Minimum 2 years related mechanical or electrical experience; or
· Applicable apprenticeship or in-house training program preferred
