Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as TOAST
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales and cash handling
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation, temperature, and quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation, beverage service including spirits and cocktail mixing, and food handling as needed for smooth operations
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or high-volume environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such TOAST, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse needs professionally
- Proven time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly
- Experience in food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
