This position is for maintenance at multiple locations in the Twin Cities. There is considerable driving involved and for this reason, we are offering a fully maintained company vehicle. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician/Supervisor to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our clients' facilities and equipment. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Your expertise will help keep our environment safe, efficient, and fully functional. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the smooth running of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings.
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC issues.
- Repair/replace broken locks, doors, light fixtures, drywall, faucets, blocked plumbing, etc.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders within the maintenance application.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including plumbing, HVAC, and structural repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all maintenance activities.
- Assit with other duties such as pickup & delivery of equipment, and products to various client locations.
Skills
- MUST HAVE proven maintenance/handyman experience.
- Ability to change light fittings, ballasts, locks, doors, faucets, and other such repairs.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical, and interior repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to enable assessment and repairs of building interiors and equipment.
- Skilled in drywall/painting projects.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Experience operating construction tools and equipment safely in various environments
- Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or lead small teams during maintenance projects
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices for mechanical systems repair and preventative upkeep
