Summary:
Seeking a Chemical Process Engineer with industrial experience in the mining, minerals, and metals sector to provide process engineering services and lead technical design on mineral processing projects.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mining, minerals, and metals sector
- Proficiency in process modeling software such as METSIM, Aspen HYSYS, Unisim Design, PipeFLO
- Preferred Skills:
- Competent use of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
- Responsibilities:
- Deliver process engineering services within budget and specifications
- Prepare proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules
- Provide assistance during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
- Develop detailed designs including PFDs, HMBs, P&IDs
- Conduct equipment sizing calculations for various equipment types
- Participate in PHA for assigned projects
- Review inter-disciplinary deliverables for compliance and optimization
