Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Colorado
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shifts
Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Including Holidays)
EMR: PointClickCare

Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to Long Term Care (LTC) residents.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Measure and record vital signs and promptly report any changes in resident condition.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Observe and report physical, emotional, and behavioral changes to the nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the PointClickCare EMR system.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Follow established nursing care plans, facility policies, and infection control procedures.
- Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
Requirements
- Active Colorado CNA License (Required).
- Minimum 3 years of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience.
- Previous Long Term Care (LTC) experience preferred.
- Experience working with geriatric residents.
- Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) EMR preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including holidays.
- Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) Check required before starting.
- Reliable personal transportation is required, as Gunnison is a rural location with limited public transportation.
Pay: $900.00 - $1,000.00 per week
Experience:
- Long term care: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CNA with Medication Aide Authority (Colorado) (Preferred)
