Objective of the Position: This position represents Supply Chain Management for potential and new business in the Program Team activities, and acts as a single point representative of contact for SCM; accountable for meeting target cost for new programs.

Responsible for target costing for new projects.

Act as the Program Manager for SCM – Timing, APQP & Cost Management until SOP

Responsible for Flawless launches.

Drives concurrent engineering activities and early prototype supplier involvement.

Coordinates technical reviews (with Supplier Development, Commodity Buyer, Eng, & Mfg)

Works with Commodity Buyer (CB) for estimates/RFQ/source recommendation form

Obtain consensus with program team on source selections.

Coordinate all Change Management requirements affecting suppliers.

Capture SCM lessons learned and provide to program team

Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that

Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.

Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.

Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.

Requirement Profile:
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in field or closely related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management.
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience working for a manufacturing supplier preferably automotive.
-
Experience with an ERP system required.
-
Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.
-
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
