Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flow Wrap Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining flow wrap packaging machines that efficiently produce high-quality packaged products. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth machine operation, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining optimal production flow. Responsibilities
- Operate flow wrap packaging machines with precision, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency throughout production runs
- Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal operation and product quality
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, troubleshooting issues promptly using industrial equipment troubleshooting skills and hand tools
- Follow safety standards in production by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
- Assist with setup, changeovers, and cleaning of machines to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and shift reports for traceability and process improvement
- Support warehouse activities such as pallet jacking or forklift operation when required for material handling or product movement
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, especially with packaging machinery such as flow wrap machines
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on industrial equipment
- Familiarity with GMP and safety standards in production environments to ensure compliance at all times
- Experience operating hand tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, or warehouse equipment preferred
- Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and quality checks during production processes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
