Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to bathe our 33 yr old Autistic son and sit with him and visit. 2-3 days per week 2-3 hour shift in the am 830-1130. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN GROUP HOME, HOSPITAL SETTING WITH AUTISTIC ADULTS.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience in care of Autism and behaviors
- Good at redirecting
- Understand Safety in Bathroom
- Familiarity with vital sign monitoring systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program
- Current CPR certification
- Reliable transportation to travel to client home
