Job Summary
Our client in Thomaston, CT is looking for a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic

Shift: 2nd shift 2:00pm to 10:30 pm
**TRAIN ON 1st shift
Responsibilities
- Repair & maintain a wide variety of production & building equipment.
- Proficient in use of hand & power tools. (ex. Wrenches, hand held drills, mini grinders, etc)
- Oil and grease machines to a set schedule.
- Conduct or assist in machine preventive maintenance (ex. Greasing, changing oil, replacing filters & screens, etc)
- Assist or perform light plumbing & light electrical work.
- Assist in moving equipment as needed with other team members and with appropriate equipment
- High motivation output
- Capable of reading a SDS sheet Dept
Requirements
- Safety Trained
- Outstanding Attendance & Safety record
- Ability to work in a Team environment
- Minimum Experience = 2 yrs
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred
- Possess own hand held tools is preferred
Experience
- Maintenance Mechanic capacity: 2 years (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
