Whitney Nursing and Rehabilitation is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our clinical team. Our floor relies on clear communication to keep patient care on schedule. Therapies are coordinated directly with the nursing staff to execute rehabilitation plans, which keeps daily patient transitions organized.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- Pay: $36-40/hour (Depending on experience)
- Schedule: PRN (As needed)
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary clinical team regarding patient functional mobility and discharge planning.
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain clean therapy equipment after each session.
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license issued by the State of Texas.
- Associate degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Must pass a criminal background check (legal requirement for SNFs).
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.
- Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance.
