Job Overview
Belle Meade Historic Site is seeking friendly and reliable team members to join our Museum Gift Shop team. Store Associates help create a welcoming shopping experience for guests while supporting daily retail operations in a busy historic attraction.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist guests as they enter the site and browse the gift shop
- Help visitors find souvenirs and merchandise to remember their visit
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately
- Restock merchandise and assist with pricing and labeling products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment
- Rotate through guest service positions including greeter, floor support, and register
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as scheduled
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, professional customer service skills
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail when handling cash and transactions
- Interest in learning about Belle Meade’s history and site attractions
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift or move merchandise and restock inventory
- Comfortable using ladders and climbing stairs as needed
Schedule
- Part-time position
- Must be available to work weekends and some holidays
