We are currently seeking an experienced Real Estate Brokerage Compliance Officer to help oversee brokerage compliance operations and support the growth of our California brokerage platform.
Position Overview
The Real Estate Brokerage Compliance Officer will work directly with the Responsible Broker to oversee transaction compliance, agent supervision systems, brokerage operations, DRE compliance standards, and internal risk management procedures.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of California DRE regulations, brokerage operations, transaction management, and compliance oversight within residential, commercial, and/or mortgage-related real estate operations.

Responsibilities
- Review transaction files for compliance and completeness
- Monitor brokerage compliance with California DRE regulations
- Review agent advertising, marketing, and social media compliance
- Assist with brokerage policy and procedure implementation
- Support agent onboarding and compliance training
- Assist with transaction coordination oversight
- Monitor document retention and audit readiness
- Help prepare for potential DRE audits or broker office reviews
- Maintain compliance checklists and operational procedures
- Communicate directly with agents regarding file corrections and compliance issues
- Support risk management initiatives and brokerage best practices
- Assist in developing scalable compliance systems for a virtual brokerage environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in California real estate brokerage operations or compliance
- Active California DRE Salesperson License preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of California DRE laws, regulations, and brokerage supervision requirements
- Experience reviewing real estate transaction files and disclosures
- Understanding of trust fund handling and brokerage compliance procedures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- High attention to detail and professionalism
- Experience in residential, commercial, mortgage, or property management operations is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous brokerage compliance or transaction management experience
- Experience supporting virtual or cloud-based brokerages
- Familiarity with risk management and audit preparation
- Leadership or operations management experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in long-term growth opportunities
