New and modern dental office looking for a highly motivated dental hygienist who is looking to grow with the company. We want to create a fun and supportive work environment, but be able to center our services around providing the best possible dental care for our community. Prospective candidates will assist in making sure the office is efficiently, while creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental hygiene, including cleaning teeth, taking x-rays, and providing patient education on oral health. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with a wide variety of patients and will be able to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Perform dental cleanings and exams
- Takes dental x-rays
- Records treatment information on patient charts
- Administer local anesthetics
- Provide preventive care advice to patients
- Removes all instruments and tools from treatment room after use and processes them for sterilization
- Cleans and sets up treatment rooms for scheduled procedures
- Runs lines at the beginning of the day and between patients
- Help maintain office cleanliness
- Maintains OSHA, Aseptic Technique, HIPAA according to compliance and company protocols
- Conserves dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
License/Certification:
- Registered Dental Hygienist (Preferred)
- Dental License (Preferred)
