Position Overview
$85 per billable hour
- Flexible schedule (2–3 days per week)
- Approximately 4 clients per day
- Administrative support, referrals, office space, and scheduling provided
- TF-CBT , PCIT, CCP experience preferred
Voices for Children Advocacy Center (VCAC) seeks a licensed Child and Family Therapist to provide contracted therapeutic services to child victims of sexual abuse, trauma, and other Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and their families.
The contractor will deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health services aligned with VCAC’s mission and multidisciplinary team model.
This is a professional services contract position. The selected provider will operate as an independent contractor and not as an employee of VCAC.
Scope of Work
The Contractor will provide services that include, but are not limited to:
Direct Clinical Services
- Provide individual and family therapy for children and caregivers
- Conduct comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments
- Provide structured group therapy for children
- Deliver parenting education related to trauma and abuse
- Develop treatment plans using trauma-informed best practices
- Maintain client documentation and service data integrity
Clinical Oversight & Collaboration
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings, supervision, and trainings (in person or remotely)
- Assist in developing and conducting community or MDT trainings
Program Development & Quality Assurance
- Make recommendations for service adaptation based on current research
- Ensure compliance with professional licensing standards
- Maintain confidentiality of all protected information
Administrative Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage therapeutic appointments
- Complete required documentation within established timeframes
- Participate in occasional activities outside normal business hours
- Perform other duties consistent with the scope of services
Required Qualifications
- LMSW, LPC, LLP (limited license can apply)
- Training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) preferred
- Strong knowledge of:
- Child development and family systems
- Trauma and maltreatment
- Sexual abuse and neglect
- Intimate partner violence
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic databases
- Ability to work independently

Hours of Availability: School year After 4pm until 8pm and /orWeekends; Summer hours fliexible from 9am-8pm- therapist to set own hours
Pay: $85.00 per hour
