Fruition Brewing & Kitchen is located in the East Lake Village shopping center in Watsonville. We brew fresh beer on site, and have diverse beverage offerings including local cider and wine, to compliment our kitchen menu. We have a casual upscale kitchen program providing a variety of small plates, soups, salads, and sandwiches utilizing local and organic ingredients whenever possible and with a selection of vegan, vegetarian, and sustainable seafood options, including fresh oysters.
The Fruition Brewing Kitchen is looking for a kitchen manager excited to help maintain and grow our food program in our small but mighty kitchen with our awesome team.
Our ideal candidate has at least two years of kitchen experience, is passionate about food and looking for a leadership role. The ideal candidate will also be both attentive to external direction as well as self-driven.
The role of our kitchen manager is to guide and oversee the daily activities of the kitchen crew as well as to aid in the development and long term success of Fruition’s dining program. The kitchen manager will work closely with both management and crew members to ensure quality standards, team cohesion and forward momentum.
The kitchen manager role is to work with the rest of the team to ensure that every customer has a positive food experience at Fruition and that we maintain high quality, thoughtful and consistent food.
As both our kitchen and its crew are relatively small, each team member can expect to serve the roles of line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, food runner, and shift closer, working together to ensure smooth service, food safety and cleanliness.
Must be comfortable using computers and excel/google sheets. Must be able to read and write in English.
Fruition is open Wednesday - Sunday.
Weekend and evening availability required.
