$51K–$54K DOE | Approximately 33 Guaranteed Hours/Week | Long-Term Position
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. | Friday, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
The family has some flexibility with the exact schedule and is open to discussing an arrangement that works well for both the family and the nanny.
There may also be opportunities for additional hours, including occasional date nights, extra support when Dad travels, and potential family travel.
About the Family
A warm, faith-centered family with six children is looking for an experienced and proactive Professional Nanny / Family Support Partner to become a trusted part of their household.
The children are ages 7 months, 3, 5, 10, 12, and 14, with the nanny primarily caring for the three youngest children. Mom is home and actively homeschooling the older children, while Dad primarily works from a home office and occasionally travels.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a career nanny who loves being actively involved in children’s days and is comfortable working alongside hands-on parents. The family is looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of the younger children’s routines, create engaging days, and naturally step in with thoughtful family support when needed.
What Your Days Will Look Like
Your primary focus will be creating a nurturing, active, and consistent daily rhythm for the infant, 3-year-old, and 5-year-old while Mom focuses on homeschooling and other family responsibilities.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing attentive and developmentally appropriate care for the three youngest children
- Managing bottles, diapers, naps, meals, snacks, and daily routines
- Planning creative and age-appropriate activities
- Reading, singing, crafts, imaginative play, and other screen-light activities
- Encouraging plenty of active and outdoor play
- Taking the children to parks, activities, appointments, and age-appropriate outings
- Encouraging independence and maintaining consistent routines
- Keeping children’s bedrooms, play areas, and frequently used spaces organized
- Managing children’s laundry
- Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
- Keeping commonly used family and children’s supplies organized and stocked
- Running occasional family-related errands
- Pitching in with light family-support tasks that make the household’s day run more smoothly
This is not a traditional housekeeping position. The family is looking for someone with a team-player mindset who notices what could make the day easier and is comfortable taking initiative.
Who Will Thrive in This Role?
The family would love to find someone who is:
- Warm, nurturing, and genuinely engaged with children
- Experienced with infants and caring for multiple children
- Calm and confident in a busy family environment
- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of the children’s day
- Organized and able to anticipate needs
- Active and happy spending plenty of time outdoors
- Creative and comfortable providing engaging, screen-light care
- A strong communicator who works well alongside involved parents
- Dependable, flexible, and looking for a long-term family connection
- Comfortable swimming and supervising children around a pool
- Physically able to lift and carry children as needed
- Comfortable around pets, including a German Shepherd and chickens
- Respectful of and comfortable working in a Christian, faith-centered home
Transportation
A family vehicle will primarily be provided for transporting the children and completing family-related errands.
If the nanny occasionally uses their personal vehicle, mileage will be reimbursed at the agreed-upon rate. A safe driving history and clean driving record are required.

More Than a Nanny Position
The family is hoping to find someone who becomes a trusted and valued part of their everyday life—someone who builds meaningful relationships with the children, confidently leads the younger children’s days, and gives Mom and Dad additional breathing room by being a dependable partner in the home.
For an experienced nanny who loves being part of family life, enjoys active days with young children, and takes pride in anticipating needs rather than waiting for direction, this could be an exceptional long-term opportunity.
