About the Role:
As a CBREProperty Management Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the teamresponsible for all operational and financial activities of a single propertyor small portfolio of properties.
This job ispart of the Property Management job function. They are responsible foroperating buildings on behalf of a client or group.
What You’ll Do:
Provideformal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff.Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiringof new employees.
Manage theday-to-day property management for a portfolio of Industrial and Officeproperties
Prepareand/or review the annual operating expense reconciliations using Yardi, excel,and Kardin software
Coordinateand manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks,and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor andcoach as needed.
Respond toescalated tenant needs and issues.
Act asprimary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensurethat objectives are being met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate andcomplete reports.
Develop andcontrol annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Forecast managementplans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
Help createprograms that will assist the property with emergency recoveries.
Prepare allrequired legal notices for approval.
Reviewtenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure payment ison time.
Lead byexample and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
Applyknowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others toachieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify,troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may ormay not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial property management. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Experience with Yardi, MRI, and Kardin software systems highly desired
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
