We are seeking a motivated and experienced Transport Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, , tankers, , to ensure timely delivery of freight across designated routes. Your expertise in handling different cargo types, adherence to safety regulations, and excellent driving skills will contribute significantly to our operational success. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and roll-off trucks in compliance with all DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize time and fuel consumption
- Load and unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo while adhering to hazardous materials regulations when applicable
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and compliance documentation in accordance with DOT and hazardous materials regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing exceptional customer service
- Handle various cargo types including dangerous goods or hazardous materials with proper safety procedures and documentation
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driver roles
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and the operation of refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, hazardous materials handling, and safety protocols
- Hands-on experience with load & unload procedures using manual handling techniques or forklift operation when necessary
- Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling processes and safety standards for transporting freight across different industries
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types operated
- Demonstrated ability to navigate using GPS systems efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
