As a General Construction Laborer Lead, you will assist in a variety of remodeling projects, primarily focusing on bathroom and kitchen renovations. Responsibilities include demolition, installation, and general labor tasks to support our skilled tradespeople. A Lead must be able to take charge of the job and guide the other laborers, have a great attitude, skilled in communication with co-workers as well as customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with bathroom and kitchen remodels, including demolition, installation, and finishing work
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Keep other laborers working steadily
- A good lead sets the tone for the environment for everyone else so it's important to be very positive.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction, remodeling, or a similar trade
- Skilled in bathroom and kitchen remodeling preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license a plus
