Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of landscape crew members to complete lawn care, planting, and grounds maintenance tasks efficiently and safely
- Coordinate projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans and quality standards
- Manage irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform irrigation maintenance to promote healthy landscapes
- Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and landscape design consistency
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools with safety and precision
- Oversee crew management activities such as scheduling, training new team members, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain the operation of company vehicles for transportation to job sites while adhering to safety standards
- Support ongoing grounds maintenance tasks including pruning, fertilizing, weed control, and seasonal cleanups
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and environmental guidelines while delivering exceptional customer service
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or landscaping roles with a focus on outdoor work environments
- Supervising or crew management experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and pest control
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Hands-on experience operating grounds equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hardscape tools
- Knowledge of plant identification and horticulture principles for healthy landscape development
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and manage multiple projects effectively
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles safely

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
