Requirements:
- Valid NYS Certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following areas are required:
- NYS Learning Standards and curriculum design, delivery, and assessment;
- Developmental Stages of Early Education;
- Effective, student centered classroom management strategies;
- Culturally responsive instructional practices for elementary classrooms;
- Integration of technology to plan, deliver, and assess student learning;
- Use of summative and formative student data to inform instructional decisions and student progress;
- Effective strategies for student and family engagement;
- Must have knowledge and ability to use various virtual platforms as needed in relation to the position.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills required.
Compensation per BTA Contract
