Honeybear Boba is looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking bobaristas to join our team at our new Marina location. We are a growing San Francisco boba shop focused on serving high-quality drinks and food while creating a welcoming experience for every customer.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and can stay organized and positive in a fast-paced environment. Previous boba, café, or restaurant experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Prepare milk teas, fruit teas, matcha, specialty drinks, toppings, and food items according to Honeybear Boba recipes and quality standards
- Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient customer service
- Take customer orders and accurately operate the point-of-sale system
- Maintain consistent drink presentation, portioning, and taste
- Prepare ingredients, brew tea, cook toppings, and restock stations
- Keep the bar, kitchen, dining area, and equipment clean and organized
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and opening and closing procedures
- Communicate clearly with teammates and help the shop operate efficiently during busy periods
- Monitor inventory and notify management when ingredients or supplies are running low
- Represent the Honeybear Boba brand with professionalism and a positive attitude
Qualifications
- Friendly, dependable, and willing to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Able to work efficiently while handling multiple orders
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in boba, coffee, food service, retail, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- California Food Handler Card required or must be obtained after hiring
