Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, with experience in service, remodel and construction. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in various environments, including residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. This position is open to licensed plumbers or apprentices. Looking to hire (1) serivce plumber and (1) remodel/new construction plumber
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or needed repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and HVAC technicians, on construction sites.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Weld pipes as necessary for specific installations or repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding plumbing issues and solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Familiarity with remodeling projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to plumbing systems.
- Experience working on construction sites with other tradespeople is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
- A maintenance person background is a plus, showcasing versatility in home repair tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
