Inventory & Materials Coordinator

Wetherell Manufacturing Inc. has just expanded our operation with a brand-new warehouse addition dedicated to storing the steel and raw materials used to manufacture our hydraulic cylinders. Now we need the right person to implement a new way of storing our raw material using our ERP software.
We're looking for an Inventory & Materials Coordinator who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and takes pride in getting things right.
What Will You Do?
You'll be the person who knows what we have, where it is.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and unloading incoming steel and raw materials.
- Operating a forklift and overhead crane to safely move materials.
- Checking packing slips against POs for accuracy.
- Putting new materials away and keeping the warehouse organized.
- Maintaining accurate, real-time inventory using our ERP software.
- Reading production work orders and pulling the materials needed for each job.
- Delivering materials to production workstations so the team has what they need to keep jobs moving.
- Recording scrap and inventory adjustments so our inventory stays accurate.
- Communicating shortages or concerns to purchasing and production.
Are You Someone Who...
- Has one year or more of inventory, warehouse, materials, or manufacturing experience?
- Is good with numbers and pays attention to the details?
- Can read and understand work orders?
- Enjoys keeping things organized and knowing where everything belongs?
- Is comfortable using a computer and learning inventory software?
- Takes ownership and can work independently?
- Wants a position where accuracy and reliability really matter?
- Is willing to operate or learn to operate a forklift and overhead crane?
Manufacturing experience and computerized inventory experience are a plus.
