Job Summary
Ghee Indian Kitchen is a Michelin Star rated concept based in South Florida. This is our first Atlanta location.
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment while dressing fashionably and professionally.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with accurate wait times.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient flow of guests to tables.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling reservations and inquiries effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and orders.
- Provide support during busy periods to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Background in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
