Position Summary:
Marion Eye Surgery Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Part-Time Pre-Operative Technician to join our team. This position plays a vital role in preparing patients for surgery and ensuring a positive patient experience from check-in through the pre-operative process.
Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for surgical procedures by obtaining medical histories and recording vital signs.
- Complete pre-operative testing and ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete.
- Review patient charts for completeness and communicate any concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Educate patients on pre-operative instructions and answer questions regarding the surgical process.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and compassionate patient care.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a medical office, surgery center, or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records preferred.
