- Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities.

Works with director to determine current needs for program.

Ensure implementation of policies and procedures.

Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions.

Manage communication through media relations, social media, etc

Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda.

Support growth and program development.

Monitors daily pool operations to adhere to all state, local and YMCA health and safety regulations.

Maintains accurate records of pool chemical levels and facility maintenance.
-
Maintains accurate records of staff certifications.
-
Conducts and ensures proper maintenance of pools.
-
Secures and schedules pool facilities.
-
Conducts lifeguarding, swim instruction, First Aid and CPR trainings.

Creates and schedules swim classes, water fitness classes, and swim team practices and meets.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

College Degree in related field or equivalent preferred.

One to two years related experience preferred, as a coordinator of people or related activity.

Ability to use typical business software and office equipment.

Understanding of the role of volunteerism within the YMCA.

Completion of YMCA program-specific certifications.
