Responsibilities include:
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned. The responsibilities below are a general description of the level and nature of the work assigned to this classification and are not to be considered as all inclusive.
- Provide patients with information about office policies, procedures, and services
- Ability to collect patient payments and verify patient information
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues timely
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment
- Multitask while answering calls and patient chats
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including excel and word programs
- Follow procedures and policies and report needed changes or patterns
- Able to sit for long periods of time while typing and speaking
Qualifications:

Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm, positive, and professional in stressful situations
- Strong listening and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable navigating difficult patient conversations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Ability to sit for extended periods while speaking and typing
- Previous medical office, billing, call center, or customer service experience preferred

Medical billing experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.

Must be comfortable being on the phone most of the workday.
