Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing effective physiotherapy treatments. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with patients across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that address specific patient goals and rehabilitation needs.
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatments, including trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in EMR systems.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
- Work with pediatric, geriatric, and acute care populations, adapting techniques to meet diverse needs.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physical therapy practices.
- Proficient understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
- Experience in discharge planning and developing comprehensive care plans.
- Familiarity with home & community care practices.
- Ability to provide effective patient care in various settings: inpatient, outpatient, clinics, and home health environments.
- Experience with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Knowledge of physiotherapy techniques applicable to orthopedics and geriatrics.
- Excellent communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Schedule
This is a Monday-Friday, in-person, full-time, position with 8-hour shifts.
Pay: $53.00 - $60.00 per hour
