Open Role: Fulfillment Center Team Lead
About The Role
This is an entry-level leadership role on the warehouse floor. As a Team Lead, you will work side by side with associates and directly support the Area Manager in keeping daily operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on position, you will be on the floor, not behind a desk. You are the bridge between associates and management, helping the team stay on track, follow processes, and work safely every day.
Who You Are
Strong team player, self-starter, positive attitude and high integrity
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Documents, Drive) and internal warehouse management system (i.e. Koerber)
Detail-oriented and able to follow and enforce standard operating procedures
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical warehouse environment
A clear communicator who can drive tasks to closure efficiently with error-free end results
Strong sense of urgency, superior problem solving, organizational and time management skills
Required Qualifications
Ability to arrive 15 mins prior to shift start time to help prepare shift
Must be able to lift 49 lbs
Ability to be on feet for upward of 10 hours per day
High school diploma or equivalent
Leadership experience involving conflict resolution, managing interpersonal relationships, and providing leadership and feedback in challenging situations
Continuous improvement experience, including process optimization in a warehouse environment and knowledge of lean process improvement principles
A Typical Day
Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, and assigning job duties
Training associates and verifying they are following SOPs correctly
Ensuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance
Providing policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)
Coaching associates to work safely at all times
Participating in safety initiatives
Filling in as needed with production duties
Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals
Reviewing and updating SOP as required
Assisting in keeping work area clean and organized

Salary $21/Hour
