Key Responsibilities and Duties:
·· Perform all required line checks in production to ensure finished product is meeting target specifications.
· Ensure Work Order instructions are being followed, including use of correct components and correct coding.
· Compare test results to established specifications and identify nonconforming materials or products.
· Inspect rework processes and rework products as needed to ensure conformity to customer expectations.
· Assist Aerosol Lab in implementing good quality practices, processes, and procedures.
· Accurately record test results using laboratory information systems, spreadsheets, or quality documentation.
· Notify supervisors or quality management of out-of-specification results or quality concerns.
· Maintain accurate laboratory records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
· Calibrate, clean, and maintain workspace and testing equipment.
· Follow laboratory safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality system requirements.
· Assist with investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions related to quality issues.
· Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation
· Perform other duties as assigned
Experience, Educational and Technical Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Laboratory Science, or a related field preferred.
· One to three years of laboratory or quality control experience preferred.
· Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial laboratory is a plus.
· Familiarity with regulated products is a plus.
Required Skills
· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
· Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
· Understanding of laboratory testing procedures and quality control principles.
· Ability to follow written test methods, standard operating procedures (SOPs), Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), and work instructions.
· Experience using common laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, viscometers, spectrophotometers, or other analytical instruments (depending on the industry).
· Ability to accurately interpret test data and identify abnormal results.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary processes and test results.
· Commitment to accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement.
· Candidate must be drug-free.
Physical Requirements
Able to work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled warehouse.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time..
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for prolonged periods of time during the shift Monday – Thursday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm.
- Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly.
- Employees must fully participate in all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
