What Will I Do?
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to determine strengths and weaknesses. Typical caseloads include kiddos with neurological conditions such as CP and TBI, developmental delays, genetic disorders, coordination disorders, and some orthopedic conditions. 7 Senses has a specialty infant care team that offers mentorship for treating these conditions.
- Create family-centered and neurodiversity-affirming care plans to address functional needs of each unique patient.
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions to achieve therapeutic progress.
- Collaborate with families, therapy team, medical team, and educational team as needed to support patients.
- Collaborate with seating, mobility, and orthotic vendors to recommend and coordinate necessary DME.
- Complete necessary clinical documentation in EMR system with adherence to federal, state, and facility deadlines.
- Stay current on the latest research, tehcniques, and innovative strategies for pediatric PT and participate in ongoing professional development.
What Qualifications Do I Need?
- Completion of Doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active license (in good standing) to practice as a PT in the state of Virginia (or eligible to obtain)
- Strong communication and client advocacy skills.
- New grads are welcome!

Pay: Up to $92,000.00 per year
