Job Overview
We are seeking 1099 Independent Contractors who are motivated and dependable Owner Operators of Box Trucks with liftgate, to join our delivery team! We're needing drivers for immediate start for routes that are local and OTR. We are looking for drivers with excellent communication skills, strong time management, and a commitment to customer service. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely operating your vehicle to deliver last mile packages, pallets, etc efficiently along designated routes. Your energetic approach and strong customer service skills will ensure timely deliveries while providing a positive experience for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your driving expertise and commitment to excellence make a real difference every day. Packages may be delivered to residential and business locations.
Requirements
- Must own or lease a Box Truck with liftgate
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current Vehicle Insurance
- Clean Driving Record preferred
- Smartphone required for delivery apps and communication
- Ability to lift packages as needed
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Box Truck for daily delivery routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, secure, and unload packages using proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain communication regarding deliveries and route updates
- Ensure accurate delivery of goods by following route instructions and verifying recipient details
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns with enthusiasm
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance
- Complete delivery documentation accurately, including logs, receipts, and incident reports as required
- Collaborate with the courier admin staff for loading/unloading processes and coordinate route schedules efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks
- Strong driving skills with a valid driver’s license
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude in all interactions
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and vehicle maintenance

Pay: $1,250.00 - $4,500.00 per week
