Now Hiring: Make Ready / Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated Make Ready / Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you take pride in your work, have basic maintenance experience, and enjoy working independently, we'd love to hear from you!
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- During our busiest season (August through September), some weekends and extended hours may be required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete apartment make-readies for new residents.
- Perform basic maintenance repairs and troubleshooting.
- Interior painting and touch-up work.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and clean up after each job.
- Report maintenance issues that require additional attention.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for maintenance emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Basic maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with apartment make-readies, painting, and general repairs preferred.
- Must have your own basic hand tools.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends during peak leasing season.
- Must be dependable and willing to participate in the after-hours emergency on-call rotation.
