If so, apply to be a FT Lead Teacher at our Growing Years childcare development center (Hrs of Operation 6am-6pm). We are hiring for multiple positions!
Your Role:
Lead Teacher plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises developmental classrooms for children, including children with disabilities and their peers without disabilities. They may also supervise and evaluate teacher’s assistants and volunteers in the performance of their duties in the classroom.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduate or GED
- Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Short/20 credits for Lead Teacher) , OR proof of current enrollment in an ECE program, OR an education waiver from the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF)
- 2 years teaching experience in ECE (preferred)
- Must pass Washington State Department of Early Learning (DEL) background check (and federal background check if applicable) and maintain background check compliance
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or right to work
